Professor Phil Ashworth

Professor Phil Ashworth

Professor Phil Ashworth is Project Leader for the Paraná project. He has research interests in river dynamics, channel change, bar development, alluvial stratigraphy and basin sedimentation. His previous research has involved pioneering the application of integrated field and physical modelling studies for investigating process-form relationships within braided rivers and in applying this work within the hydrocarbon industry. With Best, he has received funding from BP, ARCO, Anadarko and ExxonMobil.
